What I do
In the Morgridge College of Education (DU), I lead the Health Disparities Research Lab. I am also passionate about teaching and believe that the classroom can be a uniquely transformative space where students learn to connect theory and practice through experiential learning.Professional Biography
I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have lived in the United States since 2007. I received my doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of Florida in 2016. My pre-doctoral internship was at Harvard Medical School. I have been a faculty member in the Counseling Psychology Department, at the University of Denver (DU), since 2016.

Research
My research is in the area of customized, culturally sensitive health care and health promotion. I have built community and academic partnerships to conduct two community-participatory research programs (Patient-Centered Culturally Sensitive Health Care and Culturally Sensitive Health Promotion) to promote health and prevent disease in at-risk communities.
