Employees, Visitors & Job Applicants
The University of Denver provides reasonable accommodations to employees, campus visitors and job applicants who need assistance for a disability.
Review Accommodations Contacts
If you're a student who needs accommodations, you'll work closely with the Disability Services Program (DSP) to make the most of your college experience.
Review Student Accommodations
Accessibility in the Classroom
As an instructor, aim to "accessify" your course from the beginning. This helps all students and can reduce the need to arrange classroom accommodations in the first few weeks of a quarter. If a student requests an accommodation or is approved for an accommodation but you're unsure how to proceed, you can always contact DSP for assistance.
Find accessible entrances, restrooms and parking to make getting around DU easier.
Review Physical Access
DU strives to make activities and programs accessible to anyone who wants to attend.
Make Your Event Accessible
Learn how you can contribute to a culture of accessibility and explore additional resources about assistive technology, professional development and other accommodations.
Policies and Procedures
Become familiar with DU's disability policy, the role of service and support animals, web accessibility, and other rules and regulations.
In the event of an emergency on campus, get to a designated area of rescue or go to the nearest stairwell and call Campus Safety at 303-871-3000.
