What We Do

The Latinx Center at the University of Denver promotes and advances knowledge affecting the Latinx community through a variety of activities. We convene our communities on topics pertaining to the Latinx experience and host visiting Latinx scholars, film makers, poets, performing artists and culture critics. Through the provision of grant funding, we are able to support scholarship and creative works on topics that contribute to the knowledge and experience of the Latinx community nationally and internationally. Our research briefs provide expertise on areas of policy that affect the Latinx communities, and we support graduate education for Latinx students and students engaging in research focused on the Latino issues, concerns, and culture.
